New Year's Eve in Kołobrzeg doesn't have to mean a hotel package with a mandatory ball and music reaching your room until morning. When you stay at Baltini apartments, you can go to a city event or dinner, welcome 2027 at midnight wherever you like, then relax by the pool and in the sauna the next day. Three Baltini complexes have year-round wellness areas: on Kasprowicza Street, Polanki Aqua and Polanki Park.
New Year's Eve in a Kołobrzeg apartment instead of a hotel package
An apartment means accommodation without a set programme: you decide where and how to celebrate. New Year's Eve hotel packages in Kołobrzeg often require a 2- to 4-night stay and include a fixed plan with a ball.
At Baltini apartments in Kołobrzeg, you choose where to have dinner and when to return, then get up on 1 January whenever you like.
You also won't sleep in a building where the ball continues until morning. The city will be noisy at midnight; that's unavoidable. After the celebrations, however, you return to your own apartment, not a hotel corridor next to the ballroom.
Where to celebrate at midnight? City New Year's Eve 2026/2027 at the port
Kołobrzeg's 2026/2027 city New Year's Eve event is planned for the passenger port, near the lighthouse. It is organised by the Regional Cultural Centre. The venue has changed because Pionierów Square, where the city celebrated in previous years, is being redeveloped. The New Year's Eve party usually runs from 21:00 to 2:00; the area is fenced, and bringing your own alcohol or fireworks is prohibited.
From the apartments on Kasprowicza to the port, near the lighthouse, it is about 2 km, or a 25–30-minute walk. From Polanki Park and Polanki Aqua, it is about 3.5–4.5 km, roughly 10–15 minutes by car, depending on traffic and the route. Some people celebrate outside the official event, by the pier and on the beach.
If you prefer a ball or dinner, choose a venue whose music and menu suit you, and book accommodation separately. This makes it easy to combine one night of celebrations with several days of relaxation.

Polanki Aqua: two pools and a jacuzzi in western Kołobrzeg
Polanki Aqua is in a quiet western part of Kołobrzeg, about 400 metres from a wide, sandy beach. All year round, it offers an indoor sports pool, a leisure pool with jacuzzi, and dry and steam saunas.
The area is normally open from 9:00 to 21:00, but hours may vary slightly on Christmas and New Year's Eve. Each apartment includes four wristbands, so when four people stay, everyone has their own; 2–3 people may enter with one wristband.
Polanki Park: an intimate pool by the Seaside Park
Polanki Park Complex is located in a quiet part of the city, directly bordering the Coastal Park. The sea is about 350 metres away. The year-round indoor zone includes an intimate indoor pool with a jacuzzi, a dry and steam sauna, and a fitness room. Access to the recreation zone is by card.
Are the pool and saunas open on New Year's Eve and 1 January?
Baltini wellness zones operate year-round, but opening hours may vary during the holiday and New Year period. Normally, the pools at Kasprowicza and Polanki Aqua are open from 9:00 to 21:00, with last entry to the Kasprowicza pool at 20:00.
The schedule for 31 December and 1 January is set shortly before the holidays, so it is usually not known when you book. If you plan to use the sauna before going out or on the morning of 1 January, check the hours before arrival.
New Year's Eve for two in Kołobrzeg
New Year's Eve for two is easier to plan in an apartment than a hotel: you arrange the evening yourselves and have more privacy. Dinner, a seaside walk, a glass of wine in the apartment and midnight just for two. A late breakfast and the beach in the morning.
Each apartment has its own kitchen and private space. Kitchen size and layout vary, so check the specific apartment description before booking. If you are not interested in a ball, you do not have to buy two tickets just to have somewhere to spend midnight.
At Kasprowicza, each apartment receives one wellness zone access card, shared by all guests in the apartment. Keep it safe, as losing it costs PLN 150.
New Year in Kołobrzeg: how many nights to stay and how to plan your trip
For New Year's Eve, it is best to come to Kołobrzeg for 3–4 nights, e.g. from 30 December to 2 January. With only one night, most of your time will go on travel and evening preparations, leaving little time for the pools and saunas.
Sample itinerary:
- 30 December: arrival and an evening seaside walk.
- 31 December: a leisurely breakfast, pool or sauna (check New Year's Eve hours), relaxation and an evening celebration.
- 1 January: a late breakfast, a beach walk and the sauna.
- 2 January: one more peaceful morning before returning home.
For a New Year walk from the Kasprowicza apartments, take the promenade towards the pier and port; the lighthouse area is about 2 km away. From Polanki, walk through the Coastal Park to West Beach, then continue along the shore towards Grzybowo. The beach is much quieter in winter than in summer, and you can warm up in the sauna after returning.
